Luxor Staffing is hiring Purchasing Agent paying $17 per hour on 1st shift. Weekly pay, possible overtime, incentive and bonus programs, optional direct deposit, benefits from day 1 on the job and much more!
Shift: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm
Job Summary
- Works independently and under general supervision of the Purchasing Manager to manage inventory in Epicor/Syspro, coordinate cycle counts facility, and act as a liaison between purchasing and manufacturing and the tool crib.
- Operates in the most cost-effective means.
- To be able to multitask within the policies and expectations of the company when/if necessary.
Essential Functions/Key Responsibilities:
· Create and maintain bills of material for the anilox roll division
· Create and maintain part setup in Epicor to ensure purchase order suggestions are created as appropriate and inventory levels are maintained as appropriate.
· Review manufacturing jobs for accuracy of entries by manufacturing personnel for time and cost.
· Ensure that inventory is counted regularly, accurately, and completely.
· Analyze results of cycle counts to identify and correct errors in inventory transactions.
· Work closely with the Manager to maintain inventory levels.
· Work closely with tool crib to ensure inventory is organized efficiently.
· Act as the key contact for manufacturing for material availability.
· Provide support to the Manager, as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Experience in Purchasing in bills of material, purchase orders, inventory, etc.
